| Second-hand smoke is extremely harmful to adults and especially children, and violates their rights to health and life. Smokers' rights to do what they will with their body does not trump the rights of others. As long as smoking only happens where others give consent to second-hand smoke, there is no suffering inflicted on others. This bill would allow the public to be free of the damaging effects of second-hand smoke while allowing smokers the freedom they desire. |
