Message | It is a historical artifact that must be preserved. |

Message | We believe that its preservation in museums and historical artifacts is perfectly fine and we encourage restoration of ancient archaeological sites and the history of our nation in museums, documents, et al. HOWEVER - it should be noted that it is quite confusing and problematic for foreign relations and diplomatic affairs that we are officially known as both "Barmenia" and "Barmenistan." It needs to be one or the other - we need a single official name so as to end and clear up the confusion. |

Message | OOCly, I agree, and Barmenia would be the official national name. I mainly use Barmenistan because I figure my party would be trying to appeal to traditionalism. That said, Barmenia has been known as Barmenistan for most of its game history, so other times i just plain forget that that isn't its name. I expect other long-time players would also refer to it as Barmenistan due to this as well. Anyway, I'll try and make more of an effort to use Barmenia when representing us internationally and in bill articles etc, and try to restrict the use of Barmenistan to character speeches. |
