MessageWe were under the impression that the SPoK believed in an opt-out option for students. Have they now gone back on this promise as well? Do they really believe in denying students the right to practice their beliefs? May we ask why the SPoK has now submitted something they swore to defend?

MessageWe promoted opt out at the time before it became apparent that conservative parents were making decisions for children. If there was some way to ensure that the child's wishes were accurately reflected in the opt-out and not the Church via the parent, we would be more in favor of it.

The Socialist Party believes in a secular state. Religious and moral beliefs are best kept in the private sphere, that is between a person and their god. In the public sphere, where decisions I make affect others even if I don't intend them to, this is the realm of government legislation.

MessageWe welcome the LPL to the dark side, and hope they have no more concerns about the advancement of socialism across the board, because they alone join us in the advancement of a socialist agenda.
