Description[?]:
We feel the following proposals would be beneficial to the people of Barmenia. Ensure that libraries are maintaned and standardised in the highest of all standards across the nation, and implement a comprehensive digitisation program of all texts. The minimum wage should be a living wage, as a minimum wage in and of itself does not guarantee one can survive on what they are being paid by their employer. One should be able to live above the poverty line and have a reasonable standard of living on any wage. A salary cap should be enforced so that wealth is never concentrated in the hands of a few. |

Message | 1. we are opposed to the centralisation of such a vital community resource 2. Given that in most cases the state is technically the employer your proposal weakens the power of the workers 3. We are willing to consider this change, the question being does it represent a raise or drop in the minimum, this is at present unclear |

Random quote: "Many forms of Government have been tried, and will be tried in this world of sin and woe. No one pretends that democracy is perfect or all-wise. Indeed, it has been said that democracy is the worst form of government except all those other forms that have been tried from time to time." - Winston Churchill |
