Message | The REP has readjusted the national taxation policies in order to decrease the surplus of the national budget. The adjustment was made according to the principles of liberal economies. The brackets were changed from 800 and 1200 Rutas to 1000 and 1500 Rutans and for the higher cathegory the 4% was decreased o 3%. This new formula better adresses the economy and enables a large-scale development of the private sector. Thomas Tilly, Minister of Finance |

Message | PSLM skeptical about further liberalization of Rutanian economy, but we realize that there is a large surplus in our budget. So we can support this proposal if REP and OP will support our Economic Interventionism Act and Pharmaceutical Drugs Bill. |

Message | Well, let us make a one-one deal. We can certainly support tje Pharmaceutical Drugs Bill, but the Economic Interventionism Act is unacceptable for us. We think that this one-one deal is pretty fair. |

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass. |
