Understanding that the it is the civic duty of all citizens of the Republic to defend their motherland in the event of invasion. Holding that the defense of the themselves and the republic is a primary interest of the citizenry. Resolved that the soveriegnty of the Republic of Dranland shall be insured. We, the Democratic-Unionist Party bring this legislation to the floor of the Lexate for a vote. |

Old value:: There shall be no mandatory military or civilian national service.
Current: All adults upon completion of schooling must serve either a term in the military or a lesser paid term of civilian national service, at their option.
Proposed: All adults upon completion of schooling can be required in times of war to serve a term in the military.
