| Aldegar's current higher rate of income tax, at 38%, is simply far too high. People are leaving the country to make more money abroad, depriving Aldegar's economy of wealth. This modest proposal will introduce a flat rate tax of 30%, giving Aldegar's highest earners a break whilst also taking many ordinary Aldegarians outside of the tax bracket altogether.
