Message | I appreciate the nationalization of this conversation because it could benefit the nation depending on which direction we take. However, the way this bill looks may not be in the right direction.I am concerned and worried about the consequences of nuclear power. It may be far more efficient, but the affects that inevitable nuclear waste has on humans within the immediate surroundings, the environment, and the water supply is incredibly detrimental. The sustainability of such an endeavor is bleak and it is an inherently destructive energy source -- meaning that, while there is a greater amount of efficient energy being produced, the negative effects it has on the eco-system, environment, humans, and animals is destructive and deteriorate elements within the proximity. What say you? Also, what do the things in the parenthesis mean concerning this bill and nuclear power? |
