Bill: A New, Healthy, Healed Vorona
Details
Submitted by[?]: Radical Party of the Right Front
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2750
Description[?]:
The title of this bill as been our slogan all along. Now, we need to boost our economy, but we don't need to spend. We need to cut and raise taxes, and cut some government spending. I know, a conservative party wanting to boost the economy is unorthodox, but we plan to do it in a conservative manner. |

Message | Oppression of the workers will only make them resentful. Banning strikes and unions will lead to rioting at worst, and at best a lack of motivation at the work place. If people enjoy their work, they will work harder and be more productive. It is naive conservatism to think you can still just crack the whip on people and make them work. The state ought to control all banks to ensure the easy distribution of loans and money, and to ensure proper practices at the banks. Unregulated stock exchanges are very dangerous, we must ban stock exchanges altogether for the instability they cause. A state directed economy could grow without the approval of the capitalists or nobility. It could balance quality of life with productivity. If workers democratically run their industries, they will be motivated to work hard, as they will be working for THEIR company, they will be farming for THEMSELVES, not for nobility. When people are in charge of themselves, when they work for themselves, they will work hard. That is the basis of our economic plan, democracy, in the economic field, and state planning to ensure economic growth benefits all, and to force industrialization. |

Message | While there are certain articles of this bill that the SKV heavily disagrees with, particularly the increase in taxes and the outlawing of child labour. However, the majority of this bill will increase private ownership and competition greatly, so we shall be willing to vote in favour. |

Message | There are some provisions of the bill look O.K. But overall it is a bad bill, especially the provisions concerning organized labor. Our party will stringently oppose this bill. |
