Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2752

Description[?]:

Leaving abortion as a local issue is pointless it will only serve to create inequality for female citizens based on where they are born or reside. It is time for the federal government to finally clarify and protect a women's right to choose with effective legislation.

MessageAbortion poliies should be established by local government. Any well thinking politician in Aloria should know that Aloria is a very devoluted nation. In Ultran the are very conservative and religious, so they are probarly absolutely against abortion. In Sildar they are very progressive, and they are for abortion.

So this hasn't anything to do with giving everyone the right to have anabortion, because not everyone in Aloria is for abortions. So let the local governments decide about it. That's the federalism were this country is build on!

MessageIf an Alorian wishes to have a child rather than a abortion then they are able to do so HOWEVER NO local government should be allowed to rule them illegal as to do so is pointless and dangerous forcing women to seek help from UNSAFE backstreet abortionists! A women's right to choose should not be infringed upon by a local government!

MessageIf youdon't know how Aloria is, then don't mind it's business! Aloria is a FEDERAL nation and every nation is very diverse! Soci economical and political opinions are in each State very different! So every State has the right to maintain it's own policies!

MessageOur problem is not with Aloria's diversity it is with the fact that local governments are legally able to ban abortion which we believe should be a non-negociable right for all female Alorians.

We know how Aloria is but we are more concerned with how it SHOULD be.

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play".

Random quote: "Radical left-wing ideologies must be stamped out." - Franklin McCarthy, former Solentian politician
