Message | We can support this. |
Date | 11:03:21, May 12, 2009 CET | From | Rutanian Heritage Party | To | Debating the Anti Police-State Act no. 2 |
Message | We have decided that we can support this legislation, though, generally, whilst we support strong personal freedom for all law-abiding citizens, we are not particularly concerned with the liberty of convicted criminals - we wouldn't be opposed to legislation that allowed authorities to record the DNA of criminals only. Any true liberty is not equal among all men. Having said this, we will support this legislation for the time-being, as a marked improvement on existing legislation. |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
