Message | This cabinet is identical to the one proposed in 2753. Mindful that the CLA-FKP controls a majority of the Diet, the FAP should reconsider supporting this new cabinet. |
Date | 01:26:38, May 15, 2009 CET | From | Konstitutionelle Monarchie Partei | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of March 2756 |
Message | The CLA needs to put these cabinets up for debate first instead of putting it straight to vote. Has the CLA taken any consideration what the FAP had said in the previous cabinet discussions? Has debate on cabinets all of a sudden become non-existant or do we only use threats as a way to get that yes vote nowadays? The CLA has no grounds trying to take away Foreign Affairs away from me considering that the past few treaties Hulstria has passed have been authored by me nor do they have the grounds to keep the KHP in un-important positions. The FKP is new and un-experienced; I said the FAP would vote for a cabinet in the Diet if they got Trade, Science, and Environment as a start for introducing them to government, later in the future if they go don't go on another inactive spree and show actual interest in some of the proposed positions, then the FAP will have no problem placing them in positions like Education or Finance. Is that requesting too much? The CLA and the Frei Kapitalistische Partei are NOT the only two parties in this country and the CLA should get the notion that just because at this point in history they got a majority does NOT mandate them doing whatever they damn well please and think other peoples opinion mean nothing. The only reason your two parties control a majority is because over the half of the country doesn't even vote in elections anymore and the ones who do side with you guys; only 64% of Hulstrians voted this year, that excludes over 20-25% of usual voters. When turnouts were at 80-85%, not only did it prevent a supermajority but the FAP and the KHP did do much better. Do not take advantage of low-turnout, its not exactly something to be proud of. We're not going to be bullied into this and want a debate that lasts at least more than a year. |

Message | The FAP will go with a cabinet with these current placements but would only for for it if the CLA and the FAP remain at their Defense and Foreign Affairs ministries. |
