Message | As a principle, I don't see why we would need trade unions. Employers who follow the teachings of Hallibutt will treat their employees good. On the other hand, we now that many employers are unbelieving scum, and therefor trade unions could fill a function. But ONLY as long as the trade unions follow the teachings of Hallibutt. |

Message | And how do you plan to ensure that the unions following the teachings of Hallibutt, if not through state control? |
Date | 14:55:07, April 28, 2005 CET | From | People's Progressive Party | To | Debating the Workers Rights Act |
Message | Why must the trade unions only use the teachings of Hallibut, why cant trade unions be voluntarily organized along whatever philosophical lines their workers want? |
Date | 17:07:54, April 28, 2005 CET | From | To | Debating the Workers Rights Act |
Message | Because the only thing that is important, is that all people follow the teachings of Hallibutt. And the only function that a trade union will have, is to make sure that all employers follow the teachings of Hallibutt. If the unions didn't follow the teachings of Hallibutt, how would they be able to fullfill this task? |
Date | 23:10:06, April 28, 2005 CET | From | People's Progressive Party | To | Debating the Workers Rights Act |
Message | The trad eunions should not be a church for the teachings of Hallibut. Our people should be free from having to organize trade unions that tow a specific party line. |
