Debate
These messages have been posted to debate on this bill:
Date | 19:36:05, May 27, 2009 CET | From | Strong Republic Party | To | Debating the Gun Control Act |
Message | Adults should be the only "owners" of a gun, however children should not be blinded from the issue. Not allowing an 'older' child to handle and properly use a weapon (only under the most strict of conditions and precautions of course) risks leaving a young adult exposed without any proper education in the matter. The "strict license conditions" metioned should later be expanded to include a required course in weapon safety and management, as well as regular permit updates; preferably sometime between every 6-12 months . |

Random fact: "OOC", "IC" and "IG" are commonly-used acronyms in Particracy. "OOC" refers to comments, discussions and actions which are out-of-character, meaning they are done player-to-player rather than party-to-party. "IC" refers to in-character interactions (ie. party-to-party). Similarly, "IG" means in-game, although this term may also simply refer to what happens in the actual game interface, as opposed to on the forum or elsewhere. "RP" just means "role-play". |
Random quote: "One day our descendants will think it incredible that we paid so much attention to things like the amount of melanin in our skin or the shape of our eyes or our gender instead of the unique identities of each of us as complex human beings." - Franklin Thomas |
