Bill: Act to Highly Reduce the Deficit or Break Even (AHRDBE)

Details

Submitted by[?]: Bismarckian National Resistance (BNR)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: December 2763

Description[?]:

Beiteynu's current deficit is in excess of 73 billion BEI. The Income tax proposal of September 2762 will reduce this deficit by 44 billion BEI, to 29 billion BEI. In order to reduce this even more, or perhaps to even break even or even have a surplus, I propose an increase in the luxury sales tax, to 25% (from the current 20%).
