Message | Mary Thatcher had this to say Retriement is so important. I know I am looking forward to mine. As we get older, it is important to put some money aside and ensure we have a vital pension. Others are wealthier than others, and those of us who are upper class with victorian and christian values deserve the right to retire at our choosing. That is why the government is today proposing that we reduce the retirement age from 63 to the youngest age possible- 45. This is because morality means people should be allowed to choose when they can retire. It is right and fair that people should be allowed to retire when they can personally afford it and not when the state says. Personally, my family were so upper class, wealthy, victorian and christian- we could afford to reitre when I was just 32. |
