MessageThis is just yet another example of mismanagment under this current government they didn't do the math prio to proposing an overblown budegt and now they are in panic mode. Passing this MASSIVE TAX INCREASE will lead to massive layoffs and stun our economy and force buissneses to leave cobura for another nation more buisness friendly.

Message"The Republican Party are a bunch of lying morons. The math is quite clear on the subject. We still have a total budget surplus of over 70 billion COB, our GDP has risen 5% since the RPC took over the finance ministry, and we have reduced taxes on the lowest earners. Raising Corporation Tax will merely pave the way for building a more just society, helping to redistribute the vast wealth in Cobura, after seeing decades of rising inequality presided over by the Republicans and their lapdogs.

Contrary to what the liars say, this along with other measures will increase job security and strengthen our indigenous industries. in the future, I'd suggest the Republican Party stick to matters they can understand - like how best to hate gay people or women."

- Jeff Bennett, Finance Minister

MessageThe fact is that under the leadship of the RPC people earn less money taxes have never been higher spending is out of control and now they got us into a deep hole of dept.

Message"No. That's another lie. The poorest have seen taxes decrease under us. They've also seen the basic goods tax dropped to a meagre 1% by us.

We're also not in debt. Note the real spelling of the word, with a 'b' not a 'p'.

The Republicans; lying, illiterate morons. Colour me surprised."

MessageIn one breathe you dismiss the CNSO and in the next you cite their figures. Make up your mind.

GDP per capita has risen, yes? Even if it hadn't that proves what? Nothing. GDP per capita tells you precisely nothing about how the poorest are doing.

MessageIt seems an apology is in order. The finance minister labelled the Republican Party as lying, illiterate morons. He was mistaken.

They are actually: lying, illiterate, innumerate, morons. We apologise for any inconvenience or distress caused.

Messagei am beginning to wonder if the RPC is fit to rule in Cobura, they themselves can be sued because of the language they use(breaking the regulation of the media law using hate speech). I think its the RPC that should study how the economy works better. Keep the discusions clean, PLEASE!
