Bill: New Parents Act
Details
Submitted by[?]: National Patriots Party
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: January 2776
Description[?]:
In the need to ensure the safety and security of all children upon birth the need for a standardized testing system for would be parents are needed to ensure that these parents can provide for the child once he/she is born. We do not believe that the government should take a child from its parents unless it is in an extreme situation such as child abuse, but we do believe that there should be a test that will evaluate the potential for problems between the parents and new born prior to the new born arriving. If a parent or parents show that they lack in a certain field then the child will still be allowed to leave with the parents but the parents in question should be watched and in the event of child neglect or abuse the child will be removed and the parent or parents charged to the fullest extent of the law. |

Message | Holding new parents who just got a child in contempt before there are any illegal actions performed is ridiculous. No to this bill. |

Message | We are not holding them in contempt we are asking that they go through parenting classes and take a test. If they pass then the government doesn't worry about oversight. However if they fail then we have social workers that can go in and keep a check on the kids and after a while if they parents wish they can retake the test and if they pass it then the social worker isn't required to stay. |
