Bill: Public Decency Bill, 2128

Details

Submitted by[?]: Social Dynamist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2131

Description[?]:

This bill would extend the laws against vulgarity to acts which, while not technically intercourse, are on the periphery of sexual behaviour and certainly indecent.
Under no circumstances may this bill prohibit greetings and signs of affection which do not involve contact of sensitive areas.

MessageWe support HOWEVER- this should not extend to hand holding or short kisses- a peck on the cheek, or a lgiht kiss on the lips (greeting or "good bye" kiss). Some policement might overinterpert this law, so we feel those exceptions should be written.

MessageIt says "sexually explicit". I'm not sure it is even possible to call a kiss explicit, even if they're wall-banging/making out. There's gotta be hands up shirts or down pants to be "explicit," but I suppose a cop in a really really bad mood (or one who really needs to get laid) could say that ^.^ so yeah, put it in there just to keep the jerks away.

MessageThe CP and FP's concerns would be unfounded in an even stricter law.
<|I'd like to avoid listing activities, for obvious reasons, but assume the details of the law lists appropriate and inappropriate activities|>
