| Message | The REP believes that the new name would express the function of our central legislative assembly: providing a supreme forum for creating the legislative framework of the Commonwealth. We think that the new name will give a higher esteem to this assembly and to its members. We know that some of the parties will argue that this is a pointless formality but we have expressed for several occasions that these formalities have a huge impact on the amount of symbolic capital of our nation, which is a great one.
