Message | We oppose - we are not against public involvement in the healthcare system, per se, but we believe that this is a matter for local governments, rather than the federal government. Giving the federal government authority over welfare services of this kind needlessly increases the power and size of the welfare-state, at the expense of tax-payers, and to no real benefit relative to the private or local alternatives. |
