Description[?]:
As proposed by Senator Lewis Byrne, Senator for Fuwan, Shadow Secretary of State for Finance and Econonics. Article 1: ~ This Sovereign Senate finds that provision for state-owned housing is at sufficient levels however accepts that some families, whilst unable to purchase alternative property have savings and worth that exceeds the value of the government-owned home. Article 2: ~ Realising this, the Government of the Federal Republic of Solentia does hereby permit that those living in State-owned housing that have savings and worth that exceeds the value of the home, to make an offer to their local authorities to buy their house at fair and reasonable market value. Article 3: ~ (1) The Government of the Federal Republic of Solentia only permits individuals to purchase this type of housing provided that: a) At least one member of the family is fully employed b) that the standard of living for adults and children living in the house is deemed to be of sufficuient standard and guarentee once the cost of purchase is removed. (2) The State shall ensure that the above mentioned standard of living is met by their local housing authority who shall grant permission to proceed with purchase. Written documentation must be filed for future reference. Article 4: ~ This Act is found to be legal and binding in law and can be overturned with a 50% of Senatorial approval in a bill specifically designed to revoke this Act. Article 5: ~ This Act shall pass with a 50% majority of Senate support. |
