| So as to not limit the freedoms of our citizens, we propose that firearms for personal protection and hunting be permitted so long as the owner meets the following qualifications: - The owner must be 18 years of age. - The owner must not have any instances of violent criminal behavior on his or her record. - The owner must not have a history of major mental illness. - The owner must obtain a permit the government following a safety course and written exam. |
