Bill: Loi sur les droits des animaux et protection de l'environment/ Animal Rights and Environmental Protection Law
Details
Submitted by[?]: Parti du Sentier Lumineux des Paysans
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2789
Description[?]:
The current law is not in agreement with the interests of the Peasants of our country. The Peasants demand that the government ends all killing of animals because the killing of animals allows big inequalities between honest hardworking Peasants who grow good crops and evil capitalists who sell meat which gets us sick. |

Message | We would probably have supported this bill if you'd taken out the proposals to prohibit hunting/fishing and to outlaw killing animals completely. If you submit a modified version of this bill without these articles, we will vote in favor of it... I can't speak for the PC, but I imagine that they will be more likely to support a modified bill as well, but you'd have to ask them to be sure. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
Random quote: "You will win, but you will not convince. You will win, because you possess more than enough brute force, but you will not convince, because to convince means to persuade. And in order to persuade you would need what you lack, reason and right in the struggle." - Miguel de Unamuno |
