Message | Upon the Republican Party's proposal of this bill, nearly all League mps rose up in applause, even the Speaker of the Diet caught be caught with a grin on his face before he called the Parliament to order. "Mr Speaker, The League litteraly applauds the efforts of the Republican Party to halt the growing and obscure tide of communism in our most Holy Empire. We grant them our undivided support with the board of governors being unanimous in its support of this proposal. I yield." -Lord Edward Bane, League External Liaison Officer |

Message | ADDENDUM: Mr Speaker, May we propose that this Diet advise the Directorate of National Security on classifications pertaining to this bill (ie: socialists, communists). I yield. |
Date | 02:39:34, July 20, 2009 CET | From | Alliance of Social Democrats | To | Debating the Civil Service Protection Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The passage of this bill is illegal, subject to this law: "All adult citizens may serve in the military, regardless of race or religion." If this bill does pass without that law being changed, the Social Equality Party will bring this case before the Imperial Supreme Court. I yield. |
Date | 04:36:20, July 20, 2009 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party of Luthori | To | Debating the Civil Service Protection Act |
Message | LDP of Luthori Secretary to the Imperial Diet, the Rt Hon. David Bowman: "Mr Speaker, The LDP of Luthori shares the concerns of the Luthori Republican Party and the Constitutionalist Imperial League regarding the rise of communism and socialism within our nation. We have long condemned these damaging ideologies and will do all in our power to prevent them controlling the Imperial Diet. That being said, this bill would violate certain laws within Luthori and it would be unwise to pass this bill without ammending current laws as well. Thus, as the LDP of Luthori is stuck in the middle, we will abstain from voting on this bill. I yield." |
Date | 04:42:28, July 20, 2009 CET | From | Alliance of Social Democrats | To | Debating the Civil Service Protection Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, With much cause for concern, our party asks that the Liberal Democrats reconsider and vote on this bill. Without their support, the laws of this nation will have been thrown away. I yield. |
Date | 05:04:24, July 20, 2009 CET | From | Luthori Republican Party | To | Debating the Civil Service Protection Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, Communism is not a race or religion. If the collectivists can not see that, then they are hopeless! I yield. |
Date | 07:44:48, July 20, 2009 CET | From | Constitutionalist Imperial League (IA) | To | Debating the Civil Service Protection Act |
Message | Mr Speaker, The honorable representative from the Republican Party is absolutely right in stating that these treasonous ideologies are not races or religions, thus they do not breach Luthori law. I yield. |
Date | 23:31:01, July 20, 2009 CET | From | Alliance of Social Democrats | To | Debating the Civil Service Protection Act |
Message | Mr. Speaker, The statement that "all adult citizens may serve in the military" clearly extends to all people, regardless of political ideologue. Seeing as that this resolution is likely to be passed, the Social Equality Party will not recognize it as having a legal basis, and as such, we believe that this resolution will not accomplish anything. As long as the law is written as it is, we believe that the citizens of our nation will still be able to engage in civil service. I yield. |
