Bill: Economic Responsibility Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Nationalis Revolutionae Frontis Selucia

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2790

Description[?]:

Yes, a compromise bill, don't look so shocked.

It is rather absurd and delusional to believe that a purely private banking sector is a good thing. The establishment of a central bank should be the least interference the government should take in this sector, to provide monetary stability and to prevent other banks from collapsing. Only a blind dogmatic free-market fundamentalist lunatic would allow such a ridiculous economic policy to continue. If it makes you feel better you can consider the central bank to be 'independent' and it can have very limited powers.

In exchange for the passing of this bill the NRF promises the following:

1. Half of the Proletariani Legio will be disbanded.
2. The commanders responsible for the atrocities in Auroria will be handed over to the authorities.
3. The NRF and the Proletariani Legio will renounce terrorism.

MessageSHH accepts this exchange since it will result in an end to NRF-sponsored terrorism and some measure of justice for the recent terrorist attacks. We enter into this compromise in good faith, but will not repeat it if it is unfulfilled by NRF.
