MessageLDP of Luthori Secretary to the Imperial Diet, the Rt Hon. David Bowman:

"Mr Speaker,

In honour of their commitment to the Imperial system of Luthori, and for their willingness to engage in a peaceful and stable relationship with the two ruling parties, we hereby wish to offer the Alliance of Social Democrats the chance to participate in Government.

This has been agreed upon by both the Liberal Democratic Party of Luthori and the Consitutionalist Imperial League.

The two positions offered to the ASD are that of Health and Social Services and Education and Culture, as we believe these to be two of the ministries which would be of key importance to their party platform.

I yield."

MessageMr Speaker,

The Social Democrats support socialist style reforms. Placing these folks who are on the wrong side of the culture wars in charge of education and healthcare is a grave, grave mistake.

Then again, Mr Speaker, allying with communists is always a grave mistake!

I yield.

ToDebating the Cabinet Proposal of July 2791
MessageMr Speaker,

The ASD supports His Majesty the Emperor, for that they are on the right side of the culture war. The Imperial Alliance has long had many members. May we point to the Solidarity (IA) party, which had a more collectivist thought, yet was a loyal supporter of the Emperor. On the other side, the heretics from the so-called Christian Democratic Party and the traitor Kennedy worked against His Majesty William III and was even responsible for the horrible civil war that plagued our nation.

I yield.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Alliance of Social Democrats is honored and humbled by the coalition's cabinet proposal, we look forward to serving His Majesty on this cabinet, and working with the Liberal Democratic Party and the Constitutionalist Imperial League to unify the Holy Luthori Empire in support of His Majesty.

I yield.

Random fact: In Culturally Protected nations, special care must be taken to ensure realism is maintained when role-playing a government controlled by an ethnic and/or religious minority. If it is to be supposed that this government is supported by a majority of the population, then this should be plausibly and sufficiently role-played. The burden of proof is on the player or players role-playing such a regime to demonstrate that it is being done realistically

Random quote: "Sometimes it is said that man cannot be trusted with the government of himself. Can he, then, be trusted with the government of others?" - Thomas Jefferson
