Recognizing the fact that the crown of Luthori has abused the people, the legislative body of Luthori hereby rebukes any and all past abuses by the supposed crown. We direct the "Emperor" to apologize, and abdicate the throne. This is his chance to leave power of his own free will and accord.

MessageOOC: lol read the Constitution first. Then tell me how to do this. The Diet has no power over this, but there is a way.

Hint constitution is a Treaty, not the one linked. To find it go through the wiki.

Yes it was voted out, but not undone since it would require 2/3s vote to do that and the party that took it out only had half.

MessageMr. Speaker,

The Imperial Constitution has been revoked. The current administration will not recognize it as legally valid, and has no reason to do so. The 2/3 voting provision was tagged into the Constitution: IT should have been placed in another treaty that could back it up. As such, our administration will recognize this legislation if it passes.

I yield.

MessageOOC: This is not an IC arguement. It is in the Constitution that it be 2/3s vote. You can not just ignor it because you do not like it. Take it to the Mods if you wish, but it has been argued before and they ruled in its favor saying that if it is in the Treaty then it should be upheld and followed.

You did not, so yes the treaty is gone due to the game mechanics, but the 2/3s rule stays in effect.

MessageMr. Speaker,

Our administration does not recognize the legality of the Imperial Constitution. The minority in the Diet may recognize the Constitution; we, will not.

I yield.

MessageOOC: Once again you don't seem to understand what OOC and IC mean. The Constitution is the law and is upheld by rulings that were argued long before you were even playing this game bud. So just because you do not like it and want to cheat to "win" does not help your case.

MessageOOC: Look, this shouldn't be made "personal" or anything. This is a game. I follow the game mechanics. You can roleplay forever and ever, I really don't care, and I don't play like that. I don't care about rulings made way before I've been playing: They aren't embedded in the game mechanics. If I wanted to roleplay, I would.

MessageOOC: However Moderation rulings out do that of the game. Like I said I am happy to argue this case again. Yes it is a game, but you have to follow the rules whether you like them or not. It was ruled that since it was in there and it passed then it had to be followed and continued. This was not us getting together and saying it was so, it was the moderation.

I have argued this case before bud, and if need be we can revisit it again, however until that ruling is changed, then it is the game rules whether you like it or not.

MessageOOC: Game mechanics always take precedent. You can't force other parties to accept your RP'd construct over the flow of game mechanics, much as it would occasionally be nice.

MessageOOC: Look, again, I really don't care. It doesn't matter whether or not the moderation rules on the issue: You can recognize it when you are in the majority, and I won't when I am in the majority. What good would it do anyways, otherwise? I mean, nothing is being resolved here.

MessageOOC: The point being it by 2/3s vote and just because you don't like that, because you don't have the votes, you will not follow it. You seem to just not care what others think and have done, if they do not fall in line with yours. Really I have done this arguement a million times, and your right it gets no where, until the person realizes that they should follow it and just accept it, since it is more realistic and guess what not looked as cheating to "win".

Random fact: In order for a Cabinet bill to pass, more than half of the legislature must vote for it and all of the parties included in the proposed Cabinet must support it. If your nation has a Head of State who is also the Head of Government, then the party controlling this character must also vote for the bill, since the Head of Government is also a member of the Cabinet. If any of these requirements are not met, the bill will not pass.

Random quote: "They can call us communists and fascists all they want but, their words are of a hollow ring with the blood of innocence at their feet." - Mathew Jameson, former Hutorian politician
