Bill: Imperial Counter Reforms I
Details
Submitted by[?]: Imperial Conservative Union (IA)
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2797
Description[?]:
Time to put the Empire back where it should be. Sometimes the middle ground is the best ground. #1) The State should have control of the Defense manufacturing of its own weapons, but that does not mean private companies can not exist to compete and sell arms. #2) The Government should protect its people, and to do so we should set some safety regulations. #3) The banks make the most money when they are private which allows our economy to grow and develop more due to the fact that companies can gain better loans and investments. However, we need some type of security and centralization, which is why we need the Central Bank. #4) It is just not practical to have more than one company to give electricity to the people. This way we do not have power lines going everywhere due to different companies having to put up their own lines. #5) This is an old law, that has been this way ever since the telephone was invented and only recently was changed. We should put it back. #6) A law that will allow those without a roof over their head a place to live until we can get them on their feet and they can serve the Empire. #7) We need an educated citizenry to run the Empire, so we must make our children attend school. |

Message | Mr Speaker, We could support the need to have one energy company, but this one should be private and wan with an Imperial Charter. I yield. |

Message | Mr Speaker, Furthermore, since Luthori uses the Gold Standard and that all Luthori pounds can be redemable for gold, to guard against inflation, the Imperial Bank of Luthori would purely manage the Empire's assets, along with the Lord High Treasurer and other members of the Privy Council. I yield. |
