Bill: Imperial Religion
Details
Submitted by[?]: Imperial Conservative Union (IA)
Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: October 2797
Description[?]:
This law is fair and continues the tradition in Luthori that has existed since the founding of the nation. The State Religion is not mandatory, but is voluntary to all of the people of the Empire. If they wish to join the religion of the Emperor, which most of them do, then they join the State Church. However, it does not keep them from joining the religion of their own choosing. The State Religion is an institution that has no effect what so ever on the nation, other than the fact that it is historic and a tradition that the ancestors of this nation, our founding fathers and mothers, have protected and stood firm on even when some of them were not members. It is time we allow the people the right to have this tradition back. OOC: Where do you people think Luthori gets its name from? Luthor religion. |

Random fact: Party candidates for head of state elections are not visible to the public. This means that you cannot see who will run and who will not, which adds another strategic element to the elections. |
