| OOC: this is more for my views. IC: #1) People have the right to sue if false information is published about them, and is harmful to them and their life. We have no right to allow false publication take place. #2) Our flag is a symbol of the Empire, and should be treated kindly. While we can not force anyone to worship it, we can ask them kindly to simple show respect to it. #3) The current law allows citizens to carry military firearms around the nation. Now it does not take a genius to see why that is such a stupid thing. We have a police force, and we have a military, with little need of any militia. Because so, if people wish to own a firearm, it should be a reasonable firearm and not a military grade weapon, and should not be allowed to carry where ever in the hell the please. While guns may not kill people, people kill people; I can tell you we can not get rid of the people so we will have to get rid of the guns that are unreasonable for the people to own. #4) We should help others that are in need. It makes us look better and it gains allies. If they do not want our aid we will not give it, but if nations ask for loans we should give it to them. The Holy Luthori Empire is a super power, and it is time we take our position and help the nations that are less fortunate than we are. #5) We need a fire department. If we found the Imperial Fire Department and standardize it, we will have an effective and well organized fire department to help serve and protect our people. #6) To make it easy so that once again we do not have different companies competing on something that should be run by one company. Of course this would follow the law already passed that established the single company holds the power supply that is regulated by the government. This simply gives all the other power stations to them under the regulation of the government. #7) We must maintain our infrastructure or we will crumble as an Empire. Roads are what connect the Empire, and they must be maintained. |

| Message | Mr Speaker, This bill is unconstitutional and the League will undertake legal action if it passes. The Common Bill of Rights specifically states "The Diet shall make no law restricting the people from owning and bearing arms.". This is a clear and gross violation of that law. I yield. |

| Message | Mr. Speaker, This law does not ban guns. It simple allows for the guns, such as military grade weapons, from being used by the general public. The law allows people to own guns, if they are sane enough to own them, and they may use them whever it is appropriate to have a gun in the first place, such as a gun range, and not church. I yield. |
