Message | The Infrastructure & Transport Minister believes that housing policy, whether it be providing public housing or covering low-income people, should be left up the local governments to decide on; perhaps some more progressives cities want public housing and some more libertarian local governments wants the government out of their housing making it completely private. Instead of dictating housing policy from Kien, let mayors, town councils and the citizens in deciding their fate. Of course the I&T will provide oversight of course but have a larger devolved housing program is what we believe is the right course for Hulstria. As for public works; the I&T believes that instead of running a large national program, we instead provide the funds and the management of these works to local governments as they truly know what needs to be done in their towns and cities. As for the post office; since we can not argee to have side-by-side a public and regulated private post office industry, how about we have instead a full private sector controlled post office with senisble regulations without a nationalized PO. |
