MessageHmmmm, it does seem like a good enough idea. However, I must say that we could have opposition from many citizens due to sending our troops off to serve for others. So we must think about this.

MessageWell perhaps the peacekeeper philosophy should be reviewed.

It is not going into another nation to impose our will and culture into their society, quite opposite really. The goal of the peacekeeper is to do exactly what it says and go into a nation (or two nations) and enforce the peace so the people of the society may continue living their lives.

The peacekeepers do not back the government, or the rebels, or an opposing government. They are actually put into a lot of danger because they are on nobodies side and may only shoot under strong certain circumstances.

This method has proven very successful in the past in matters of tribal wars, border conflicts, controlling religious zealots, and most particular enough building up stronger allies around the globe. When nations come together from different nations on a peacekeeping mission they often share intelligence and train each other. The soldiers of the peacekeeping mission then come back to their nation and help develop their own nations defenses. The bind is stronger and the military is even stronger, for only the fee of saving other peoples lives.

It most benefits lives, culture, allies, woman, children, men, the poor, and our nation and it's military.

The downside is the money it will cost, the danger we put our soldiers into, and getting involved in other countries conflicts we have no interest in getting involved in.

Overall I think it is worth it.

Messagethis is just liberal imperialism. the kind of 'we shall force democracy and capitalism' on you arguement that gets our people killed. it is the right of the nations peoples to choose (or to surrender to) their governments. revolution cannot be spread by military violence. if you want a democracy, the people must want to run it for themselves.

MessageYou clearly didn't understand what I said before. You say revolution cannot be spread by military violence right after I said the point that this bill will prevent military violence.
