Message | If Article 11 were to be removed, there would not be a 2/3 requirement. Either way, I support. |

Message | Why do we need to remove animal testing regulations? You favour cruelty to them? |
Date | 02:02:52, October 24, 2005 CET | From | Old School Liberal Party | To | Debating the Bag of Goodies |
Message | We favor less regulation. How effective can restrictions on animal testing be if they are not actively and severely enforced? And exactly how much would it cost to actively and severely enforce them? I can assure you that with the free press, there will be a lot of hollering if something substantially cruel is done to animals, and companies will self-regulate themselves to avoid losing money. |

Message | Why the flip-flop? In your other bill, the advantage is to smaller regions, here it is to larger ones. Can't make up your honourable mind? |
Date | 05:07:21, October 24, 2005 CET | From | Old School Liberal Party | To | Debating the Bag of Goodies |
Message | Flip-flopping is when one actually switches sides in a two-option position. For example, if I decide I'm fully for legalization of marijuana, then decide later that I'm fully against it, I am flip-flopping. However, if I astutely realize that no one wants to legalize marijuana completely today, but that they might be willing to make it a less criminal offense, I would COMPROMISE and propose a bill saying as much with hopes of getting it passed, taking important steps towards eventual legalization of marijuana. Please don't be stupid. Just change your name to the Yellow Party or something less against your espoused ideology than "Libertarian." |
Date | 07:13:15, October 24, 2005 CET | From | Communist Party of Kafuristan | To | Debating the Bag of Goodies |
Message | I must disagree with this proposal. My step brother was shot, and loosening gun control won't help anyone. |
Date | 20:31:16, October 24, 2005 CET | From | Libertarian and Federalist Alliance | To | Debating the Bag of Goodies |
Message | There is, of course, no reason to get offensive OSLP, this is just a game afterall. And please remember that political parties don't always have to name themselves according to their ideology. |

Random quote: First and second class seats on public transport shall be BANNED! We are all FIRST CLASS people, regardless of whether we are rich or poor and can afford or not afford to pay for a more expensive seat. From now on, all seats on trains, buses, trams, planes and so on shall be the SAME. We will all travel in the SAME way, TOGETHER. ~ Friedrich Pfeiffer General Secretary of the Dorvish Communist Party |
