Status[?]: defeated
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2816

Aside from abolishing these awful things completely, we believe this is only the moral way of using Bio-chemical weapons in warfare. I ask "Why would we use these on civilian areas?" This act will just clarify our position to the rest of the world. |

Message | We would prefer an outright ban but would support this as a temporary measure until we can pass a more comprehensive treaty. |
Date | 19:16:17, September 10, 2009 CET | From | Rutanian Elitist Party | To | Debating the Warfare Convention Amendment |
Message | No-no. We cannot support this. We see the humanitarian cause and we sympathize with it. But we cannot tie the hands of our nation. Chemical and biological weapons are created against civilians. We are horrified about the idea to use them but anyhow... |
Date | 19:21:47, September 10, 2009 CET | From | United Democrats | To | Debating the Warfare Convention Amendment |
Message | Is this how we want Rutania to be viewed by other nations? |
Date | 20:19:38, September 10, 2009 CET | From | Rutanian Elitist Party | To | Debating the Warfare Convention Amendment |
Message | Rutania is not viewed thourgh its different policies. We are a sovereign nation, who has the right of legislation. By the way, Rutania is seen trough its diplomacy, we have to confess that Rutania has pretty good relationships. And I hope it will remain like this if we all cooperate for the benefit of Rutania. |
Date | 11:31:49, September 11, 2009 CET | From | Rutanian Heritage Party | To | Debating the Warfare Convention Amendment |
Message | We agree with the REP's comments - whilst we obviously do not condone the use of such destructive weapons, it is vital to Rutania's global-standing and defensive capabilities that we do not restrict our own military policies on purely ethical grounds. |
Date | 21:43:38, September 11, 2009 CET | From | People's Party of Rutania | To | Debating the Warfare Convention Amendment |
Message | The PPR regard this as a step in the right direction. We would welcome an outright ban on these heinous weapons. Each journey starts with a single step. |
