Essentially, we feel that charity cannot be forced upon people. If people of this nation feel the poor should be helped (we in the TLP feel this way) then they should give money to the poor. Taxes should only be for manditory government operations, not redistribution of wealth. |

Old value:: All adults not supported by another person shall be guaranteed a very basic subsistence income by the government. However, the provision of this is not to exceed a certian period of time.
Current: There shall be no direct cash payments to individuals to guarantee a minimum income.

Old value:: The state offers a voluntary public pension, combined with other voluntary private pensions.
Current: The state operates a compulsory public system combined with an optional private pension.
Proposed: The state does not operate a pension system. Individuals must save up for retirement on their own.

Message | It is the responsibility of the state to protect the population, we see no reason to abolished this protection to our citizen. If the TLP is ready to let old and unemployed peoples died on the street then it is their policy, but we will not allow this. |
