Bill: Anti-Nanny State Act

Details

Submitted by[?]: Traditionalist Liberty Party

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: May 2817

Description[?]:

Essentially, we feel that charity cannot be forced upon people. If people of this nation feel the poor should be helped (we in the TLP feel this way) then they should give money to the poor. Taxes should only be for manditory government operations, not redistribution of wealth.

MessageIt is the responsibility of the state to protect the population, we see no reason to abolished this protection to our citizen. If the TLP is ready to let old and unemployed peoples died on the street then it is their policy, but we will not allow this.

MessageThey would not die on the streets if the government loving people of the DP would go out and help them. Government cannot be charitable, that can only be done by individuals.
