Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: March 2820
Description[?]:
We want a state monopoly on prostitution so that it is easier to get in toutch with prostitutes that have problems and want to get out of it. It will also be easier to get the hold of the traffickers and such also. We also think that all drugs should be legalizes since we see no meaning in arresting a heroin addict, this is a health issue not a justice issue. |

Message | We are disgusted and appalled at the thought of the state adopting the role of a pimp. Should this pass the SV can promise direct action against any state-run brothels which are allowed to open. |

Message | The first state runned brothels will open march 2820. Its better to have them in the state than the mafia.. |
Date | 17:18:29, September 18, 2009 CET | From | Sosialistisk Venstreparti | To | Debating the Protecting the prostitues and drug addicts Act |
Message | No, it's better to have no brothels at all. The police have achieved success in reducing the scale of prostitution since our law was introduced several years ago. But now certain parties want things to move backwards again. |
Date | 17:24:26, September 18, 2009 CET | From | Det Kazulianske Arbeiderparti | To | Debating the Protecting the prostitues and drug addicts Act |
Message | The only thing you brought down was visible prostitution. Now its more underground with horrific torture and locking them up 24/7 waiting for the next customer sent in the door. With a state monopoly we can help them get out of prostitution and here they can work less and make more. |
Date | 17:28:24, September 18, 2009 CET | From | Sosialistisk Venstreparti | To | Debating the Protecting the prostitues and drug addicts Act |
Message | Men who want to torture will keep on doing it regardless of the law. The SV will not give in to their terrorist acts. |
Date | 17:31:16, September 18, 2009 CET | From | Det Kazulianske Arbeiderparti | To | Debating the Protecting the prostitues and drug addicts Act |
Message | Neither will we therefor we will make a state monopol. With prostitutes in the legal marked few maybe no one will go underground to buy sex so we will take over the mafia marked. after that we can help most of them out of it |
Date | 17:35:02, September 18, 2009 CET | From | Sosialistisk Venstreparti | To | Debating the Protecting the prostitues and drug addicts Act |
Message | You don't help women leave prostitution by institutionalising it as part of the state and giving it a legitimacy it never had before. If the state wanted to help vulnerable women it would ensure them a decent standard of living and all the care they needed, it wouldn't make them have to sell their bodies to survive. |
Date | 17:41:17, September 18, 2009 CET | From | Det Kazulianske Arbeiderparti | To | Debating the Protecting the prostitues and drug addicts Act |
Message | I dont think you get my point. We are forcing them out of prostitution this way. How could be help woman who are prostitutes under mafia control when we dont even know who they are? And thousands of hours survillians to identify a couple of them then act. Now they are forced to get government employment since few or no one will buy sex from illegal places, and them we allready have their identety insted of using police ressources. Then it will be much easier to help them out of prostitution. |
Date | 19:30:06, September 18, 2009 CET | From | Sosialistisk Venstreparti | To | Debating the Protecting the prostitues and drug addicts Act |
Message | This is not forcing anyone out of prostitution, it is institutionalising it and making it more socially acceptable. And there is nothing to stop the mafia continuing to force women into prostitution and organise the trafficking into the country. These men who want to torture will keep on looking to illegal forms of prostitution if they are unable to treat the women in whatever they want inside state-run brothels. |

Message | Because, this is bound to pass anyways, I am going to vote "no" for ideological regions, though I support the general idea behind this legislation and for coalition purposes. If another coalition member changes their vote, then I will make sure this passes by changing mine. |

Message | That is ok. If you get the chance to show your voters what you mean you have to do it. |

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar). |
