Bill: Alternative tax proposal for Kazulia

Details

Submitted by[?]: Sosialistisk Venstreparti

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will pass as soon as the required yes votes are in, or will be defeated if unsufficient votes are reached on the deadline.

Voting deadline: June 2820

Description[?]:

A compromise tax proposal which we hope can be agreed on by parliament. This will raise revenues compared to the last tax bill from FP while cutting taxes for the poor and beginning the return towards a more progressive tax system.

MessageIf there is a deficit it will be tiny and can easily to sorted in future. We have had years of surpluses which will cover things for a long time into the future.

MessageWell HLF are satisfied with the new tax system. Poor people have much less taxes and corporation flourishes so hopefully also unemployment also will. Personaly im only for decreasing taxes atm.

MessageSV - do you seriously want those who earn less than 10.000 a month to pay 20 % tax?! Last time I checked that wasnt socialism

MessageIf you earn less than 10,000 you pay 0 tax. The 20% is for income between 10,000 and 15,000, not for anything below that.

MessageI understand what you are saying but that is roleplaying, what you can do is setting it as 1% since it isnt possible to make it 0%. But that i can only say yes to if it will not make a deflict. But we are to different in taxing policies. Im not 100% capitalist but i like a more capitalistic system than today.

MessageIt is possible to make it 0%. In real life people in many countries only pay tax once they earn a certain amount and that would be the case here as well under this proposal.

MessageYou can. Because '>' means more than. The 20% is for people earning >10,000. There is no tax bracket for people earning less than 10,000 meaning they pay no taxes at all.
