Bill: Income tax proposal of December 2130

Details

Submitted by[?]: Majatran Socialist Party

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This bill proposes to change income taxes. It requires more than half of the legislature to vote yes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: August 2131

Description[?]:

The Ba'ath Majatran Socialist Party propose to adjust the government's income tax policy to better address the economic situation of the Sultanate of Al'Badara. This will be the final tax increase, after this we shall re-adjust public spending which, depending upon the results, may result in taxes being dropped. For now, however, this is necessary to overcome the deficit we currently suffer.

Random fact: Particracy does not allow real-life brand names (eg. Coca Cola, McDonalds, Microsoft). However, in the case of military equipment brand names it is permitted to use simple number-letter combinations (eg. T-90 and F-22) borrowed from real life, and also simple generic names, like those of animals (eg. Leopard and Jaguar).
