| The Verititas Splendor Party propose to adjust the government's spending budget to better address the economic and social situation of the Pontesian Dynastic Empire. We, the VSP, understand that parties may be immediately skeptical of the plan; regardless, we believe that we need not be funding billions of dollars into the jurisdictions we have placed localities in charge of. They are able to bring about their own funds through taxation of their own. We must keep in mind that this money is coming from these same people in the localities. We may not be privy to local spending, and they know how to balance their books. We ask the localities to find a way to properly fund the programs with a mind of charity, not just in terms of provision, but also collection. Estimated surplus: 58,268,220,329 [58.3 billion dollars] This surplus would be in place as a buffer for over spending, with all year end surplus returned to the people through tax rebates and tax cuts. We put forward this resolution with the idea that the federal government is not a "For Profit Organization". |
