MessageWe would also prefer to have only local police departments. However, as there is no such option in this game, we'd like to clarify some things.

1. We are proposing to have local governments fund local police departments at Satrapy level
2. We are proposing to maintain a federal (national) police department whose jurisdiction will be over the National Capital Area only.

Random fact: In cases where players have failed to clearly and accurately reference their nation's RP laws in the "Bills under debate" section, Moderation will rule them invalid if a challenge is made to their validity.

Random quote: "The moral justification of capitalism does not lie in the altruist claim that it represents the best way to achieve 'the common good.' It is true that capitalism does, if that catch-phrase has any meaning, but this is merely a secondary consequence. The moral justification for capitalism lies in the fact that it is the only system consonant with man's rational nature, that it protects man's survival qua man, and that its ruling principle is justice." - Ayn Rand
