Message | We do not view this as a breakup of the Republic, merely a decentralization of the power and reallocating it closer to the people. Michael Garrish Chairman Democratic Capitalist Delegation |
Date | 22:01:53, October 01, 2009 CET | From | Republicans | To | Debating the Devolution Act of 2825 |
Message | We see any form of devolution as little more than a slippery slope to the breakup of our unitary state. Not only that but devolution simply for the sake of devolution seems unacceptable given the proposed measures here. Is allowing the possibility of communities opting to legalise bestiality really justified by an aim of decentralizing power? We think not. Semaira James MP Leader of the Republican Party |
