Bill: Electoral Reform Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Republicans

Status[?]: defeated

Votes: This bill asks for an amendement to the Constitution. It will require two-thirds of the legislature to vote in favor. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: February 2828

Description[?]:

We feel that the electoral system should be reformed. Currently all states have the same number of seats in Parliament (100 each), however this is despite Sevescia having a population of 99 Million, and Migadon a population of 61 Million. Therefore we propose a system that still favours the smaller states, but is a tad more proportional and therefore gives a fairer value to each vote than the current system.
