Description[?]:
No civilized nation would condone capital punishment or approve of inhumane treatment to any human-being. No nation should knowingly condemn a human-being to this fate. We therefore propose that extradition to nations who use such cruel methods be banned. Thank you, The People's Party of Rutania |

Message | We are fervently opposed to this legislation. Different nations with different cultural heritage will have differing perceptions of what punishment is 'cruel' or 'inhumane', and we therefore have no authority to presume moral superiority by imposing another viewpoint. We are in no position to tell other nations what they can and cannot do to punish their own criminals. It is because of the fundamental moral and cultural differences between our nation and others that we must respect the principle of national sovereignty in all matters of foreign relations, and demand that other nations do the same for Rutania. |

Message | Why should differing perception of 'cruel' and 'inhumane' make a difference to extradition? If the Rutanian people believe that the suspect will receive inhumane treatment, by our standards, then the person in question should not be condemned to this cruelty. The fact that this bill is opposed by so many is disgusting. We are in danger of being seen as a backwards nation. May I remind the RHP and the rest of the flock that Rutania does NOT employ the death penalty. Maybe we should introduce death by stoning or crucifixion? |

Message | We remind the PPR that the RHP have always supported the death penalty, in Rutania and otherwise. |
