Bill: Healthcare Reform
Details
Submitted by[?]: Unio enim si quis Motus Populi
Status[?]: passed
Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.
Voting deadline: May 2834
Description[?]:
All citizens have a right to health care. This is not a matter of the provinces knowing what's best for the provinces, as I'm pretty sure a broken leg is a broken leg no matter where you go. This is a national priority, and as such must be handled by the National Government. However, little things, like plastic surgery, are not national priorities, and the people should not have to pay for your vanity exercise. |

Random fact: "Treaty-locking", or ratifiying treaties that completely or nearly completely forbid any proposals to change laws, is not allowed. Amongst other possible sanctions, Moderation reserves the discretion to delete treaties and/or subject parties to a seat reset if this is necessary in order to reverse a treaty-lock situation. |
