Message | Though with serious reservations but this proposal is also acceptable to us on the basis of the argument mentioned in relation with the national health care system. |

Message | This is good legislation. If the people so choose, then they have the option. Keyword here: option. As long as the pension retains its own separate budget, funded only by those paying into it, then will we support this bill. Also, we propose an amendment to this bill, the Senate cannot remove money from the public pension for any purpose. Period. This is the people's money for their future, not the government's. |

Message | The DPR state the people 'should' have the support of a fully tax-payer funded retirement, but they offer no reason or justification for why this 'should' be the case. People have no inherent or fundamental right to live off the forced givings of others, and they have no inherent or fundamental obligation to surrender a portion of their income every year for the welfare of others - this is not a given, and should not be taken for granted as the DPR seem to imply. The vague notion that the people 'should' be given a State-funded pension is not only unjustifiable but extremely problematic for the personal responsibility, incentive and initiative of the Rutanian citizens, and would demand an insurmountable amount of tax-payer funding to realize. |
Date | 20:44:02, October 18, 2009 CET | From | Liberal Democratic Party | To | Debating the Pension Plan Bill |
Message | We have proposed this bill before so obviously support. Please not that the Elitist Party voted against this bill. They seem to have lost all ideological focus. |
