Bill: Better Badara Bill

Details

Submitted by[?]: Communist Party of Badara (LL)

Status[?]: passed

Votes: This is an ordinary bill. It requires more yes votes than no votes. This bill will not pass any sooner than the deadline.

Voting deadline: November 2839

Description[?]:

Badara is in need for laws that could protect the people.
1-Firework could be dangerous and the current law doesn't stop people who are not suitable from buying fireworks
2-The general public should have some idea what they are putting in their bodies. The current law doesn't allow the public to know what they are putting into their body.
3-To make sure that a food should meet basic health standards and other standards.
4- Expired food should be thrown. Not left in shelf for people to mistakenly buy and eat.
5-The government needs to offer some sort of competition in order to keep prices down and protect the general public.

MessageI have a problem with the government enforcing food standards. Because this just seems like a slippery slope until the government starts telling people what they can eat or drink. Right now I understand it is about safety but I still believe the private sector can find a way to enforce such standards without government intervention.
