Message | This our first sketch to a coalition cabinet. We invite the SDLP to come here and discuss this matter further. |
Date | 18:01:35, November 14, 2009 CET | From | SDLP/ Caillea Vinstri Bandalag | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of January 2848 |
Message | The SDLP finds this arrangement agreeable. While we disagree with the ED on many issues, we feel the opprotunity to set a more moderate foriegn policy is too important to pass up. Our social institutions are strong enogh to withstand an ED regime, but we have no desire to give an opprotunity to tarnish our international standing |
Date | 18:04:36, November 14, 2009 CET | From | Egelion Democrats | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of January 2848 |
Message | We have moved the proposition to a vote, while we are unsure how well this unusual coalition will work, we need a cabinet of any sort to keep the nation running. |
Date | 18:09:17, November 14, 2009 CET | From | Christian Social People's Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of January 2848 |
Message | The EPP is outraged by the supposedly progressive SDLP's newfound alliance with the ED. The SDLP has sold out its principles and Egelion for the lure of government. |
Date | 18:11:27, November 14, 2009 CET | From | SDLP/ Caillea Vinstri Bandalag | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of January 2848 |
Message | Much like we did when we would ally with the EPP. Sometimes sacrificing a little principle to help move forward your agenda is necessary. The EPP should know about selling out, it has been doing so since the collapse of the CPE and the EPP saw votes to be had on the right! |
Date | 18:15:00, November 14, 2009 CET | From | Christian Social People's Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of January 2848 |
Message | The EPP never moved to the right! This is a fiction dressed up by the SDLP for its own gain! It is the SDLP that has now shown its true colours by allying with the most pernicious right-wing force this country has seen since the Capitalist Party's collapse! |
Date | 18:30:02, November 14, 2009 CET | From | SDLP/ Caillea Vinstri Bandalag | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of January 2848 |
Message | Says the party that has weakened the secularization of our nation by strenghening religious institutions, voted against the SDLP's bill laying out our left ideals for the state, and is repeatedly promoted militaristic policies. You have no moral ground to accuse the SDLP of selling out. While the EPP may have had established a number of leftist policies, it was the SDLP that has had to protect them from the EPP itself! |
Date | 18:33:55, November 14, 2009 CET | From | Christian Social People's Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of January 2848 |
Message | Your military policies are idealistic rubbish. Your bill was a mixture of idealism and economic insanity. Our religious policies are simply about recognising the importance of religion and the positive effects it can have, and about increasing religious freedom. |
Date | 18:40:42, November 14, 2009 CET | From | SDLP/ Caillea Vinstri Bandalag | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of January 2848 |
Message | So says the party in shambles. The SDLP will gladly await the day after the next election with the EPP has an epiphany and either sides with the ED itself or comes crawling back to the SDLP looking for a coalition partner |
Date | 18:42:47, November 14, 2009 CET | From | Christian Social People's Party | To | Debating the Cabinet Proposal of January 2848 |
Message | It is the SDLP that will come crawling back for a coalition partner. Your coalition will not see out this parliamentary term. |
