MessageThis level of protectionism is an unacceptable threat to our economic growth and vibrancy, and dangerously xenophobic. The CSPP extols all Egelion parties to vote against it.

MessageWe don't think that letting foreign companies own and operate our companies is a good idea. What exactly keeps them from buying up our companies only to close them down and outsource the jobs to nations with lower salaries? What will then happen to our national economy? This bill isn't over the line, it just makes sure that Egelion companies stay in Egelion ownership.

MessageWhat is to stop Egelion corporations from closing down factories and outsourcing to foreign countries? The CSPP finds the implications of the ED's argument shocking and offensive.

MessageThe PCP finds this to be an acceptable proposition. Foreign investors will still have a say in national companies. The only way that this would be xenophobic is if the proposition was to disallow foreign investors in general.

MessageHow is it not xenophobic to disallow foreign investors to compete equally with Egelian ones because of what? Some prejudiced idea of some evil masterplan foreign investors supposedly have?

Not to mention the devastation wrought upon corporate structures throughout Egelion. The CSPP finds the stance of the PCP equally bizarre as the stance of the ED.

MessageWhile the SDLP doesn't exactly understand the CSPP's view of the xenophobic intent of this bill, we do agree that this bill goes too far

MessageELF feels that it would be better to keep corporate profits in Egelion than to export them abroad.

Random fact: In cases where a party has no seat, the default presumption should be that the party is able to contribute to debates in the legislature due to one of its members winning a seat at a by-election. However, players may collectively improvise arrangements of their own to provide a satisfying explanation for how parties with no seats in the legislature can speak and vote there.
