MessageThese will consist of the government expenditures for the upcoming fiscal year, and presumably other fiscal years if we fail to make a new one as we have before. Because the taxes will bring in a total of 383,633,670,000 (rounded down from actual total), we will end up with a surplus 19,596,670 KAF per year, which we can use to supplement other departments as needed with emergency fuding and to finance the national debt, which has no doubt built up quite a bit in the many years of deficit spending.

We urge all parties to support this bill even if there are grievances, since it will allow a much more balanced spending of our resources based on our government's attentions and prevent excess waste.

MessageI disagree with the extreme imbalances of the Defense funding compared to other departments, such as Health/Social Services. Why should we give our defensive military more funding than education and all else?

MessageYes, I concur: to much being spent on the military.

MessageHowever, I supose it will do for the short-term. We will, however, look into the budget in greater depth next term.

MessageMilitary spending is high compared to the other departments because defense is pretty much the only thing that the government has a very high level of responsibility for (excluding public education and assuming that healthcare will be privatized).

At this point we find this budget to be very balanced, with the debt being financed by our 5% surplus, and 17% of the budget going to defense, an area that cannot be acceptably contracted to private firms. We're prepared to cut funding for various departments (and raise it in others) where Parliament may deem it necessary, but at present this needs to be enacted to reduce waste and allow critical areas like defense and education to receive more funding.

MessageYes, and the government also has high levels of responsibility for foreign affairs, internal affairs, and infrastructure too. But we haven't allocated as much money for them.

MessageDo you know what happens when you assume something, such as a private healthcare system when we currently have a free public healthcare system being used? It makes an ass out of you and me. We do not need such a large military yet nonexistent health funding. Please reconsider a vote against this destructive bill.

MessageThat assumption was perfectly valid since more than half of Parliament had voted yes on the Privatization of Healthcare Act by the time I made it. And Health and Social Services has the third most funding even considering that. That's not nonexistent.
